The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of characters, and a exciting storyline including celestial beings, evil spirits, and sinister influences growing in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

Episode 3 concluded with a dramatic pause and revealed the first table of characters who will branch out from the central cast to begin their own adventure, apart from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table includes Teor (played by Travis), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Considering a large ensemble, it was evident from the beginning that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

This explains, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, weaving together the personal journeys before branching into three distinct groups: Warriors, Schemers, and Explorers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

As described by the DM, the combat-focused party is for participants who are drawn to a classically intense fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might look out of place, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these specific adventurers are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the team has a clear idea where to proceed after a violent initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose passing started the narrative’s action—used The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, breaking into the secret base, striking the rogue, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.

The antagonist then settled his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the remote area, above the urban center, with Cyd close behind.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each character has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants retribution.
  • Kattigan knows the region and advises that it is a nasty place.
  • The strong character and The healer, having resisted his relatives’ demands to eliminate the fighter and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their position as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the team enter places they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to Wicander for his salvation and will now accompany him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally too risky:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • The warrior and The healer betrayed the influential house and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the clan.

This leaves them little choice but to travel to the northern region in search of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

From the latest episode’s Cooldown, we discover that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight cast members to form the Seekers and Planners groups.

Audiences can look forward to discovering which characters will be in which group in the season’s last Overture episode, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
